With a whopping 25 watts and 8" Blue Marvel speaker, the Peavey Rage is ready for anything in the home, bedroom or even band rehersal duties.
With Peaveys TransTube Emulation Circuitry, pre and post gain controls, a 3 band EQ and the Modern/Vintage/Stack switch, it's capable of a good range of different sounds, perfect for anything from country to metal and all things inbetween.
The Rage has 2 channels, with a flick switch to go between them, and a shared 3 band EQ to adjust your tone. The clean channel is warm, clear and inviting, whilst the lead channel, which has controls for both pre and post gain, is capable of a little distortion, right up to metal breakdown, it's that versatile.
Pre gain alters the distortion level into the lead channel, post gain controls the overall volume of this channel.
Also included is the Modern/Vintage/Stock flick switch., allowing you to change the voicing to reflect the tones of modern and vintage amplifiers. 'Modern' gives a warm, standard voicing, 'Vintage' changes the EQ function, adding brightness to some classic amp designs, 'Stack' gives a preset EQ curve to mimic the tone of a larger amp.
The amplifier also has a Aux Input socket for your MP3 player and a useful headphone socket.
