The little brother of the Ashton CG44, this guitar has been specifically designed to be used by smaller and younger hands.
In the past, smaller guitars have always sacrificed quality for size, but Ashton’s ¾ and ½ sized classical guitars are crafted from the same tone-rich timbers as their big brother. It is the perfect instrument to learn on before you take the step to the next level.
Here available as a complete kit, the perfect way to get kids playing quickly, the CG34 comes with a decent quality gig bag, guitar strap, spare strings, plectrums and a great DVD, the CG12 the same bag and DVD.
The Ashton CG range guitar has a traditional slotted headstock, and 3 tuners on each side, finished in gold.
The necks are quite wide and fat, perfect for learning those first chords on, with the strings nicely spaced apart.
The Maple neck also has useful position markers on the edge, and the fretboard is a very dark, well, black, ebonised wood. It's very smooth as well, and makes the guitar a nice player.
The body has a Spruce top which helps produce a decent tone. Available in a good range of finishes, from Amber (the original colour) through black and purples, something for everyone, even a left handed version of the ¾ sized guitar, that's a first.
Ashton have been good enough to fit a strap hook at the base of the body, so you can use a strap when you play.
A good quality classical guitar package, the range of colours and accessories should inspire any budding guitarist, whilst the playability and tones are more than acceptable for a guitar of this price.
