Woody Acoustic Pickup

Designed by Seymour Duncan specifically for steel string acoustic guitars, the Woody is a simple, affordable soundhole pickup that combines good acoustic sound and quiet operation, even under the loudest band situations. The Woody's shaped magnetic field provides even, balanced output from each string - especially the 'B' string. Chords are well articulated and single note lines are even when moving from one string to another. You get clean, clear acoustic sound whether you're plugged into your favorite amp or a sound reinforcement system.
Dual potted in wax and then epoxy to eliminate microphonic feedback and to insure mechanical integrity and reliability. The heavy duty studio quality 14' cable with it's top quality 1/4" hand-soldered plug provides a quiet, kink-free, low capacitance connection to your amp.
Available in 2 versions, the Woody SC is a single coil model that sounds big and bright, and the Woody HC is the Hum Cancelling Stack with 2 fully shielded coils for hum cancelling and rich full acoustic sound.
All this quality and performance is built into a beautiful hand rubbed wood casing that easily pops into a standard 3.75" (94mm) to 4.0" (100mm) soundhole!
