The Hiwatt B300 15 is a powerful combo bass guitar amp featuring Maxwatt sound created in the UK in the tradition of the great British amplifier designers.
With a whopping 300 Watts of power it is great for playing in both live and studio situations and has design features with these uses taken into consideration. Tough black panelled housing protects the internal circuitry and 15” Hiwatt speaker of the B300 together with rugged side handles for easy transportation and bold black and white Hiwatt logo on the front.
The B300 is rich in tone, responsive and easy to use with front panel tone controls that allow you to customise your sound. A Graphic Equaliser with seven sliders let you boost or cut certain tonal frequencies from sub-bass to treble to adjust tone according to your surroundings.
The switchable compressor and ratio dial can be used to even out the sound of each string – especially useful for “slap” playing styles. For real power and crunch the gain control can be turned up to give distortion and a contour dial gives you control over mid frequency tones.
Wherever you play your bass, the B300 incorporates the needs of an active musician with an output for headphones for silent practise, balanced XLR output for studio use and also an external speaker output so you can add speakers for cranking up the sound on stage. There are also selective active and passive inputs specific to your guitar’s pickups.
