£9.95 An ultra-fine layer of EXP Coating is bonded to the phosphor bronze outer wrap wire which is then wound onto the hex-shaped core wire.
The result is a built-in barrier against the corrosion and wear that can quickly sap the life out of your strings and your sound.
EXP coated phosphor bronze bass strings have a natural round wound feel and sound fresh and bright with a "new string tone" that lasts three to four times longer than traditional guitar strings.

New life for an old faithful guitar

These strings are great - they injected new life into my Art & Lutherie acoustic. The guitar has always had a surprisingly good tone but lacked a little percussive attack and resonance. It now has more of both. Strumming now has more definition and presence and fingerstyle has improved clarity and timbre, particluarly noticeable on the bass strings.
