The Tanglewood TW155, from the Premier Range, is a Super Jumbo sized electro acoustic with built in EQ and tuner.
Finished in a smooth satin varnish, no gloss here, the headstock has Tanglewoods name in green Abalone, and chrome Grover Rotomatic tuners. A reinforcing 'volute' keeps stability between the top of the neck and the rear of the headstock.
The smooth Mahogany neck has Maple binding and a Rosewood fingerboard featuring green Abalone markers in a variety of shapes, elipses, diamonds, squares and even a snowflake!
The cutaway body joins at the 17th fret, this also has full Maple binding to the front and rear. A solid Spruce top and Mahogany body give good, solid volume and clear tones.
The front of the guitar has a large tortoiseshell scratchplate, simple soundhole rosette and a Rosewood bridge with black pins.
The top quality Finnish made B-Band pickup has a 3 band EQ, presence and volume controls. It also has a smart looking built in tuner, very useful. The strap hook doubles up as the jack socket, and the 9v battery compartment is nearby.
We also have the TW155A electro acoustic bass guitar, made to the same construction, but with Tanglewood own chrome machine heads, and no tuner on the B-Band.
