Washburns WD32 acoustic guitar features features a solid Sapele body, with a solid Spruce top and a thin scalloped spruce brace, the foundation of a great sound.
Intricate wood marquetry and an all over satin finish add to the natural appearance and sound of this lovely guitar.
The machine heads are Grover, the industry best, with an 18:1 ration for excellent tuning, fitted onto a Rosewood veneered headstock.
The very smooth Mahogany satin finished neck has a lovely Rosewood fingerboard bound in cream plastic, this has pearl 'slash' inlays to the one side.
The body has a satin finish all over, and features solid woods all round, Spruce for the top and Hi grade Sapele for the back and sides. The top has a good grain, giving a bit of a vintage look. Cream binding continues around the front and back of the guitar. The back also features a tidy, lighter centre join.
The attractive 'butterfly' bridge is Rosewood, aiding sound response as well as being a talking point.
Sounds are really impressive, plenty of volume and clean, responsive tone. The Electro version has a BBand pickup system which gives an excellent reproduction of the guitars sound.
In all, a great playing, clean sounding all solid wood dreadnaught for under £200 - what a bargain.
