This is the Special edition, that features not only the split coil pickup of a Precision Bass, but also a stright pickup as normally found on a Jazz Bass Guitar, giving a new raft of extra tonal options to you.
The oversized headstock has 4 in line Chrome open gear machine heads with 'elephant ears', giving precise and stable tuning.
The fat neck, which is styled on the original Jazz Bass necks, tapers sharply towards the body. The Maple neck is good and smooth with a traditional Rosewood fingerboard featuring neat and tidy fretwork.
The heavy body is finished in a great Antique Burst, showing off the wood grain to great effect, complimented by the 3 ply Red Tortioshell effect scratchplate.
The standard 4 saddle bridge and contols are finished in chrome.
An excellent upgrade from a standard Precision Bass, with the extra Jazz pickup giving a greater range of tones.
