Lorenzo have been making award winning guitars for years, and this model, from their Flame Series, is an all Mahogany beauty.
The entire guitar is finished in a satin, waxy varnish, giving a totally smooth feel.
The headstock is quite small and slim, with 3-a-side enclosed die cast tuners that work very well.
The neck feels very good, slim at the head end, and noticably fatter at the body end, all satin finish here, which some players prefer to gloss.
The fretboard is bound in a creamy plastic, and the Ebonised fingerboard feels pretty smooth with very good fretwork, especially considering the bargain basement price here!
The body of this model is all Mahogany, with the same cream binding around the guitars front and back. A satin finish always brings the best out of Mahogany, and here you can see the lovely tight grain of the wood in detail.
A nicely decorated soundhole, black plastic teardrop scratchplate and ebonised bridge finish off the front.
The back and sides have a similar Mahogany finish, all adding up to an extemely nice looking instrument. Very different to the raft of plain acoustic guitars out there.
The sounds are pretty good as well, the deep body and Mahogany give a deeper, more mellow tone to Spruce, with plenty of character and charm.
