With classic compression combined with classic overdrive, the Route 66 pedal gives you 2 great effects for the price of 1. The 2 effects sound great on their own, and can also be combined to compliment one another.
The compressor can sound like a vintage Dyna Comp or Ross compressor, but so much more versatile, having a tone control (which can be turned on or off) and a clean-boost pre-amp controlled by the gain knob.
The overdrive channel is designed to accurately reproduce the sound of the classic TS-808 Tubescreamer, but with a Bass Boost switch and far more output volume than the original.
