Those looking for a guitar package with a bit more attitude have found what they're looking for in the ESP Viper-10 electric guitar package. A funked up SG style guitar in cool black with a great amp and accessories.
The Viper-10 electric guitar has got plenty of weight to it, giving a good level of resonance to the sounds. Completely finished in a morrored shiny black, plenty of metal looks are on offer as well.
The headstock has 2 rows of 3-a-side black chrome ESP tuners that work pretty well, and on the front, the gold Ltd logo shines out brightly.
The bolt-on neck is quite slim, again with a shing gloss black paint job on the back, and it has an unbound Rosewood fingerboard. This has 24 extra jumbo frets, all nicely finished, as we've found on all ESP guitars, for excellent playability, certainly the best on any guitars from packages we've come across.
Aound the back, we can see the black chrome neck plate, ESP branded, where 4 screws hold the neck onto the body, and nearby, the well positioned straphook giving a nicely balanced feel when straped up.
The body is an asymetrical SG style, giving plenty of extra poise, with 2 ESP humbuckers for powerfull rock 'n' roll sounds.
The hardware on the bridge is all in ESP's traditional black chrome, a tune-o-matic style bridge and stop tailpiece, and single volume and tone controls.
The ESP 10 electric guitar amplifier is small and compact, but the 6" speaker certainly packs enough punch to fill any bedroom! It looks geat too, with a large ESP logo on the front and neat control panel with a 3 band EQ, wild overdrive setting, master volume, input socket and headphone socket.
Also included is a black padded ESP guitar bag with side handles, a single shoulder strap and large packet on the front, an ESP branded black nylon guitar strap, digital guitar/bass tuner and a decent quality 10' guitar cable. All of this comes in a very flashy box!
