Blackstar Series One 100w Valve Guitar Amp Head
The ISF control removes the limitations of traditional designs allowing you to tune the tone to exactly the sound you are looking for. Choose between the voicings of a USA style amp, the voicings of a UK style amp or anywhere in between. Blend the ISF control to find the tone that you want!
With the One Series amplifiers you can use the DPR power control to reduce not the volume but the actual power that the head produces. This is effectively like a built in attenuator. Take the amp from full power at 100w to a tiny 10w! This means that this amp can be used at home, in the studio and at medium sized venue gigs. ISF Control
Everything from USA to UK
The patented ISF control works with the Bass, Middle and Treble controls to give you access to infinite new sound possibilities from the USA to the UK and everywhere in-between. This fully interactive control allows you to infinitely adjust the response of the tone control network between any of the traditional voicings. In this way you can design your own sound and truly find the sound in your head.
DPR Control
Reduce the power, not the damping
The DPR system allows you to vary the amplifier output down to 10% of its rated power without any loss in tone or valve reliability. Pure valve output distortion and compression at any volume - a dream come true.
MIDI Switching
Control channel selection
The Series One offers the ability to control channel selection via MIDI Program Change messages and interfacing with most MIDI controllers is a straight forward process. The Series One can be placed in a MIDI chain allowing you to simultaneously select a channel on the amplifier and change the patch on a MIDI effects processor connected to the effects loop. There are 128 available Program Changes, giving you the possibility to access a vast number of tonal combinations.
Speaker Emulated Output
State-of-the-art speaker emulator
All Series One amplifiers have a state-of-the-art speaker emulator with balanced and unbalanced outputs via XLR and standard jack connectors respectively. The Blackstar speaker emulator is a complex multi-stage filter which takes the preamplifier signal and then introduces the important characteristics of a valve power amp, guitar loudspeaker and cabinet.
Solid Construction
High quality PCB, Cabinet and Chassis
All Series One amplifiers have plated through double sided PCBs for the increased mechanical integrity this construction affords. Designed to last a lifetime, Series One cabinets have a 18mm finger-jointed birch ply cabinet and heavy gauge wiring. The chassis, for mechanical integrity, are seam welded 1.6mm steel.
Series Effects Loop
Connect effects pedals
The amp features an effects loop to allow you to connect effects pedals or other professional equipment using the return and send connections. The Effects Loop Level switch sets the effects loop to either +4dBV/-10dBV, which enables you to use it with either professional equipment (+4dBV setting), or with guitar level effects such as effects pedals (-10dBV setting).

In addition to this we want to ensure that no harm can come to your guitar on the journey between us and you and so we have a rigorous packing procedure involving multiple protective layers. If you notice that this packaging is damaged when delivered by our courier, it is important to check the goods and if damaged, refuse the delivery and call us immediately. For your peace of mind, we have outlined the 12 point check below to show how we are passionate about your instrument.
