The MXR M78 Custom Badass '78 distortion is a factory-modded guitar effects pedal built by the MXR Custom design team. This Jim Dunlop stompbox is capable of a range of tones from tube amp style crunches right through to saturated metals! With a true bypass audio path it's not going to suck away all of that gorgeous guitar tone!

With only three knobs it's really easy to get a fantastic tone going right away. The 'output' knob controls the volume of the pedal, the 'tone' knob adjusts the EQ (the more tone you add the more treble you'll be adding). The 'distortion' knobs controls the amount of gain, the more you add the more 'over-the-top' and saturated your sound will become!

There's also a special little switch called 'crunch' which allows you to choose between two different modes of overdrive clipping. Choose between diode or LED to boost the rich harmonic content of the drive sound!

This awesome red box of tricks is completely road-worth, it's super robust and will last years and years. The compact design makes it slide into place on your pedal board easily and as it's powered by either a 9v battery or a 9v adaptor it will be compatible with your other stompboxes! If it's in stock then it's for sale and ready to go with FREE next day UK delivery so get it quick and give it a new home on your pedal board in no time!
