This electro acoustic guitar was introduced to the range a few years later due to high demand, and is now one of the cheapest electro acoustic guitars with a cutaway body shape out there, but the sound quality and playability defy this.
The pickup system allows you to plug into an amplifier or PA system for home or performance purposes, or maybe plug into your computer for recording, or even a direct into a sound desk!
The key to this guitar?s remarkably low price is that all of the usual cosmetic features such as body binding, glossy finishing and position inlays have been left out, focusing funds on quality sound, materials and construction. The result of this unusual simplicity is a guitar that is actually quite interesting to look at, especially considering the sound it makes!
Bearing a striking similarity to the Taylor ?Big Baby?, the L-449 electro acoustic guitar plays and sounds like a guitar worth many times its price! Powerful and thick dreadnaught sounds are complemented by sweet singing treble tones and the sustain is of a quality that you would not expect from a guitar at this price.
The no-frills satin finish of the Nato body and Spruce top also continues up behind the neck and actually makes for a smooth comfortable feel during playing. The elongated symmetrical headstock contains a set of good quality chrome tuners for accurate and stable tuning - no cost cutting here!
Although there are no position inlays on the Rosewood fingerboard, small dots have been included on the side for convenience and altogether the L-449EA plays like a top-notch electro acoustic guitar and would be great for beginner or experienced alike.

Bought this after a mate recommended the dreadnought version. Firstly quick dispatch and delivery was superb. As for the guitar itself, all the good reviews and awards are well deserved, plays and sounds as good as guitars costing a multiple of the price, only minor gripe is the action is a tiny bit on the high side but I can amend that easily enough myself. The simplicity of this guitar actually is quite appealing when you see it for real, and the satin finish 'feels' great especially on the neck. The built in preamp with EQ also is to be commended, very clear and sweet sounding. This guitar really is a bargain, its recent placing in Guitar & Bass magazines Top 20 pieces of gear is well deserved.
I purchased this guitar through Guitarbitz. I just have to say the service is excellent and the guitar arrived in top notch condition with free picks, a free case and discount cards for future purchases. The guitar had been checked, inspected and very well packaged. I am fairly new to playing and originally purchased a Vintage acoustic which I found difficult to play, not having built up calusus or strength (for a better player the Vintage also sounds wonderful). Also as I got to barre chords the action was too high for me on the Vintage nearer to the neck. The Lorenzo's neck plays like butter and the build quality is fantastic for the price. It feels well made with good woods even though it is so inexpensive. Care had been put into its build. Also, it sounds amazing. Chords ring clearly and it's a joy to play. I was sitting up in the Lake District just strumming a few simple songs and people were stopping to listen because I sounded much better than I really am! It's a lovely guitar, I can't recommend it more highly, especially for the price.
