The Vintage V300 is a folk acoustic guitar that has made a name for itself amongst guitar players for its outstanding quality and value for money.

Having won the award for "Best Acoustic Guitar under £1000" in Guitar magazine, the V300 is not to be overlooked when considering a purchase. The V300 offers a solid Spruce top for better tone, sealed chrome machine heads and a finely detailed finish, all of which are indicators of quality, usually demanding a higher price tag.

The V300 has a deservedly good reputation and for the money there are few contenders for quality and playability. The shape and feel make it ideal for someone who is put off by the prospect of getting to grips with barre chords on a dreadnaught, and for this reason it is also suitable for younger and smaller players. If you are looking for quality on a budget then this instrument fits the bill perfectly - and then some!

As reviewed in Guitar Magazine:-

* gobsmackingly good for the money, and would be at even twice the price

* would stand comparison with any other acoustic, regardless of price

* a highly satisfying little player

* a downright steal

* simply a stonking little picker (!)

5Really enjoyable guitar

Bought mine 5 years ago and I get withdrawal symptons if I don't play it every day. Comfortable to play, great for fingerpicking, stays in tune!

4Great guitar for the price

Got my V300 as a B stock, why I don't know! You can't see any evidence of the repaired damage, all credit to GuitarBitz as usual for their honesty. Lovely guitar for the money,Crisp, clear, clean,comfortable and easy to play.I'm thinking about moving from Orkney to Frome just to be closer to you'r shop.

This little beauty is a gem, far superior to some other expensive instruments, a friend asked me to check out some guitars as he was buying one for his daughter, I had never heard of the v300 and after trying out guitars in the £300-£400 reange I picked up this little guitar and it completely amazed me, my friend bought the guitar and I bought one for my granddaughter, can't recommend it highly enough.

I have a left-handed version and I'm afriad I really don't the sound. It has what I'd called a nasal quality, lacks bottom end and generally lacks resonance. Easy to play neck though, and it looks nice.

I bought my V300 Natural about a month ago and now my other instruments sit and gather dust. The Guitar was beautifully set-up when I received it. The voice is absolutely sweet and true, with a very smooth, clean action that is exceptionally comfortable. Playing is a pleasure once more. If you are heavy set or have short arms then this is the guitar for you.

5absolutely love it!

Have been teaching myself guitar for a year on a nylon strung classical and treated myself to this acoustic as an upgrade! I love it - was a little worried as it is described as folk sized and thought it might be smaller than my previous guitar but its about the same size and feels great! Unfortunately hasn't magically made me a better guitarist ...! Fantastic service - received guitar quickly, brilliantly packaged!
