This Ibanez GSR200 bass guitar in black just rocks! If you're looking for your first bass guitar that has excellent tones then this is a serious contender! With excellent playability, lightweight construction and an active EQ it sounds great and you'd be proud to hear this sound on your band's demo recording!

With both Jazz and P style pickups you've got a huge range of tones but with the addition of the active (battery powered) PHAT-II EQ knob you can really wind things up to get some punchy walls of bass! It really is awesome, especially for an entry-level style guitar.

The Mahogany body is nice and light which makes it easy to play when standing up. The un-glossed Maple neck allows very easy navigation around the guitar to play all of your chords and licks. The Rosewood fingerboard is deep in colour and feels great to play. There are 22 frets on this guitar that are marked by pearloid white position inlays. The nut's width is 41mm so it feels similar to a P-bass style rather than a Jazz style.

The pickups are both Dynamix single coils and are passive. With two volume controls, one for each pickup, you can really get a huge range of awesome sounds out of this guitar! Whether you're playing slap, finger style or with a pick it's going to sound great!

Quality, durable hardware really is the icing on the cake, a fantastic electric bass guitar at an amazing price. Not to be overlooked!
