2005 Gibson USA Les Paul Standard DC Plus Top in Trans Red with original hardshell case. HEADSTOCK REPAIR

A lovely and interesting model from the early/mod 2000's. Super high fret access with 24 frets and a double cutaway. The streamlined nature of this guitar also means it is super light at just 7lb 3oz and is a dream for any bad backed Gibson lover!

The guitar its self is in good round condition for ages with minimal fret wear and only a few marks around the body. There is however a headstock repair in the shape of a repaired crack. it doesn't appear that the headstock came adrift so the peg head from the front is clean and the repair is good, it appears that the headstock was cracked at some point. 

The repair wasn't carried out by ourselves though this guitar has been through the workshop prior to the previous owner selling it and in the time we have known the guitar it has always appeared to be 100% solid with no issue. Having inspected the repair further we are confident of its integrity and sure that this guitar is ready to be played as normal. 

The guitar retains its original hardshell case which is nice and in good shape and the guitar remains all original hardware wise with the Plus top models receiving the gold hardware on top of the lovely flame maple top. 

All in all a really sweet unique lightweight Les Paul that is ready to be played. As with all used instruments here at Guitarbitz this guitar has received a full workshop setup and appraisal and is ready to go with 6 months warranty!
