Here we have something truly unique! If the looks haven't already intrigued you then there are plenty more points of interest throughout this guitars spec. The guitar is reminiscent to the shape of a parlour guitar but that is where the similarities stop. Firstly the body is a very comfy slim profile, the top is a stunning mixture of reclaimed woods. AGIs ethos is ethically sourced material, so all of these woods are sustainable, often from furniture and old doors.

The top timber is a beautiful dark Mahogany, reclaimed from an old piece of furniture, together with some Silky Oak, Cherry and Cedar, (all reclaimed) It has a single upper bout sound hole, and the neck meets the body at the sixteenth fret. Felix designs and builds all these guitars to be easy to play, and have a quality of sound that belies their size. This guitar is no exception.

Bridges on acoustics are often spoilt by the cheap plastic bridge pins, AGI have a pin-less solution that holds the string in place without the need for bridge pins, genius!

The neck may look slightly unusual at first but it is actually incredibly comfortable to play on after just seconds of getting used to it, the guitar even plays as well as some electrics! Often similar wood use on the top goes into the neck, along with an aluminium strip (getting rid of the need for a truss rod), other woods used are often high-density fibreboard with a high-pressure laminate coating for durability.

From front on you may think the guitar has no sound hole but it is actually on the side pointing towards the player. This provides a really unique playing experience and it will have you wandering why no guitar company has done this before! A guitar that caters for the player!

This particular model has a volume control on the top edge of the guitar. The pickup is a P90 hand wound by Felix himself. This pickup sounds beautifully clear and transparent with a nice amount of bottom end thanks to the phosphor bronze strings.

This is a great chance to own something truly unique, this kind of spec and hand built quality often comes with an incredibly high price tag! But for £599 this is a truly incredible guitar that is ethical, handmade in the UK, looks great and plays beautifully!
