It is a bit of a a Flea\/Dart\/Claypool hybrid with a single tone control adjusting from single coil to humbucker to humbucker with tone roll-off. The MM-style pickup provides all the juice you need to get a wide range of tones and if, like me, you like to play finger style with your thumb anchored between the top mount lugs of a MM pickup you get a lovely tight, biting sound. Alternatively, the 25 fret neck provides a perfect place to anchor your thumb to get softer, more mellow tones.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe bolt-on maple neck has 25 frets and a satin finish\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e.\u003cbr\u003eIt is equipped with my Ultralite tuners (it has little or no neck dive) and 19mm, high mass bridge and has my 12K humbucker MM-style pickup with a single tone knob!\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eIt weighs in at around 7.8lbs with no noticeable neck dive. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eIt currently has a nice low action which can easily be raised according to your taste.
