Is My Item In Stock?
All products on our website are in stock and available for immediate dispatch unless shown as Pre-Order or Out of Stock. If the item is in stock we can deliver your order to you very quickly, subject to full payment authorisation.
There is a handy timer on each product page to let you know when you need to order by to get your item dispatched the same day. If you miss the cut-off time then your order will be dispatched the following day.
Pre Orders
Pre-ordering an item that is out of stock is generally the quickest and easiest way to ensure you reserve yourself the item from our next incoming shipment. Pre-orders are usually fulfilled within 7 days, it can be much quicker than this and also it could take longer, each item can take a different amount of time to reach us from our suppliers. Do not hesitate to contact us if you would like to know a more accurate ETA for your order.
Out Of Stock
If an item is out of stock and not available for pre-order it could mean that:
- We don't know when the next shipment will be
-The item is no longer available to order
- We don't offer pre-orders on this item (generally smaller things like strings & picks)
If you would like to enquire about an item that is out of stock please contact us and we'll be more than happy to assist.
All Guitars Are Checked Before Dispatch
All guitars go through our 12 point checking procedure to make sure that it passes our standards before shipping. This helps ensure your guitar will reach you in perfect condition.
All guitars are checked against our 12 point checklist and once passed, have a Guitarbitz quality control sticker attached.
In addition to this, we want to ensure that no harm can come to your guitar on the journey between us and you and so we have a rigorous packing procedure involving multiple protective layers.
If you notice that this packaging is damaged when delivered by our courier, it is important to check the goods and if damaged, refuse the delivery and call us immediately.

When Will I Get My Order?
Guitar Accessories - Strings, Straps, Stands, Tuners and Other Small Items.
* Orders weighing less than 2kg are either posted First or Second Class Royal Mail on the dispatch date shown.
* Smaller orders in weight but with a value of over £40 will be sent Tracked.
* We cannot guarantee a delivery time for these orders, but First Class post usually takes 1-2 days & second class 2-3 days.
Guitars, Amplifiers and Larger Items
* Orders weighing over 2kg are sent via our next working day courier service.
We currently use DPD Local for our courier shipments.

* Northern Ireland, north of Scotland, Isle of Man, Shetland Isles, Western Isles, Channel Islands are a 2 working day area for DPD Local.
We will do everything we can to ensure you receive your goods within the time frame specified.
We work with our courier who has at least a 99% delivery rate with their next working day service.
If there are any unforeseen delays we will do our utmost to rectify the issue.
We will email you a confirmation when your order has been dispatched. If your order is sent via our couriers we will provide you with the tracking reference number.
Weekend Deliveries
We can provide weekend delivery to customers in Mainland UK. You can nominate either Saturday or Sunday delivery. This extra service does cost a little extra but for the convenience, it's well worth it. If you would like a weekend delivery please call us to book a delivery slot.
DPD Local Courier Delivery
The Home Delivery Service You Have Been Waiting For.
DPD Local will provide you with a one-hour delivery window so you don't have to wait in all day for your parcel. Please supply us with your mobile phone number and we can arrange for our couriers to text you your delivery window on the day of delivery.
When DPD Local deliver:
* You are given a one-hour delivery window
* You are notified of this by text message on the morning of delivery
* You are notified of this by email on the morning of delivery
* If not convenient you can use the email to change the delivery date
International Deliveries
We can ship your order to any EU / non-EU European country plus Rest of World too. Rates start at just £3.99

Cooling Off Period - Under the ‘Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013’, you have a 'cooling-off period', a right to cancel orders made on this website for 14 days, provided that you give us written notice of cancellation and request a return authorisation code from us. Please note that we cannot accept returned goods without this code. Once the items are received safely at Guitarbitz and provided the goods (including packaging, accessories, manuals etc) have not been used, have all of the original packagings and are in new condition, unused and undamaged, we shall then arrange a full refund. You will be responsible for the costs of returning any unwanted item.
