Making a Purchase 

In-Stock Items

Simply browse around our online guitar shop, clicking ‘Buy Now’ on any products you wish to purchase. These are then added to your shopping basket.  You can remove any items or update the quantities in your basket by going into 'My Basket'. When you are finished shopping, go through to the payment section from your basket. Here you will be asked for the details we need to satisfy the order, names, addresses, credit card details and so on.  All prices for products shown on this website are in £ Sterling with VAT shown at 20.0% included where applicable.

Pre Order Items
Items marked as ‘Pre Order’ are not currently in stock at Guitarbitz.  Upon placing an order for these items, we will contact our supplier immediately and order the item for you.  Please note that delivery of these items can be up to 10 working days, but is often a lot quicker.  If the delay is anticipated to be longer than this, we will contact you to let you know.

Items Out of Stock 
Products not in stock at Guitarbitz are shown on the site as ‘Call to Order’ and you will not be able to order them. You can opt for us to email you when the item is back in stock. Ordering these products can't be made on the website, however, if you do wish to place an order, please contact us on 01255319540.

Credit Card Security 
We accept most Credit and Debit Cards, Visa, MasterCard and Visa Debit. You can call us on 01225319540 if you can't or don't wish to use the internet to make your purchase, or if you'd like help or advice on your purchases.  Your card payment will be handled by one of the UK's largest 3rd party payment providers, SagePay. All credit card numbers are encrypted in their software using the latest 128 bit encryption. We never get to see your card details and they are not held in clear text on any web page.

The images of products shown on our site are indicative only, whilst we have tried to accurately show you what your new guitar is going to look like, the factories may change things slightly without telling anyone! Delivery of your Purchases

UK Delivery 
Postage is FREE on ALL orders to the UK, including Northern Ireland.  
Delivery of guitars, amplifiers and physically large items are shipped by couriers for delivery to you following working day (Please Note - UK Over Water and remote areas may take 2 working days).  A signature will be required on delivery.
Delivery of everything else (small item) is posted via the Royal Mails 24 hour service. Small item orders over £30 are sent via Royal Mails Signed For Service and a signature will be required.
We make every effort to dispatch orders made before 4pm on a working day that evening. After 4pm, orders will be dispatched the following working day. If there is any variation to this, we'll contact you as soon as we can to let you know.   We e-mail you when your order is shipped, advising you of an anticipated delivery day. Your order status can also be tracked on our website by going into ‘My Account’, here you can see if orders are awaiting dispatch or already dispatched.
All products are checked for quality, performance and damage as per our 12 Point Check BEFORE they are dispatched. Please check the condition before signing for delivery (if required). If they appear to be damaged, tell the courier driver and refuse to accept them. If you have accepted them and you subsequently find anything is damaged, you MUST inform JellySonic Limited in writing within 7 days of delivery so that we can inform our couriers. You must open all items and check all goods are OK upon receipt.  

European Delivery 
We can deliver to the following European countries: 
France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Republic of Ireland, Luxembourg, Austria, and Denmark - £30 per order. 
Finland, Sweden and Portugal - £40 per order. 
Switzerland and Norway - £75 per order. 
These orders typically take up to 5 working days to be delivered, you can still track your orders via the Internet in the same way.


Returns

Gurantee
Guitars, Amplifiers and Electronic Equipment have at least a 1 years manufacturer warranty. If an item becomes defective within the warranty period, please contact us and if necessary we can arrange for you to return the goods to us.  This does not apply to fair wear and tear, neglect or abuse.  Once received back we will check the item. If an item is found to be faulty we will repair, if possible, or replace the item at the discretion of JellySonic Limited.

For UK returns, we offer a collection service for returning large items that are deemed to be faulty. We will arrange with you for our couriers to collect the item and return it to Guitarbitz.  Please be aware that you are responsible for returning the item to us safely so please package the item well to avoid damage while in transit.

For smaller items, or if you decide not to use our collection service to return an item, we recommend using an applicable Royal Mail service with relevant insurance to cover your costs of the item if anything goes wrong on its way back to us.  Please be aware that you are responsible for returning the item to us safely so please package the item well to avoid damage while in transit and retain your postal receipt and proof of postage.  Once received, we will check the items and if it is found to be faulty, we will compensate you for your postage costs*.

*The maximum we are able to compensate will be based on the price of our collection service. Details are available upon request. Compensation for your postage costs will be via a Guitarbitz credit to your E-Wallet.  Please note we are unable to refund the cost of using Royal Mail Special Delivery or Recorded Delivery services.

Please note that if goods are repaired or inspected by a third party during this period for any reason without our written consent, this may invalidate the warranty, and we cannot be held responsible for any costs incurred.

You are responsible for maintaining your product and general maintenance is not covered by the warranty.

If you return an item to us for repair and it is not found to be faulty or the fault is not covered under the warranty, we may charge you a service charge and you will be responsible for the cost of getting the item to us and our costs of returning the item back to you.


Cooling Off Period 

Under the ‘Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013’, you have a 'cooling off period', a right to cancel orders made on this website for 14 days from the day you receive your goods in full.

Provided that the goods (including packaging, accessories, manuals etc) have not been used, have all of the original packaging, are undamaged and in new condition, you can give us notice of cancellation and request a return authorisation code from us. Please note that we cannot accept returned goods without this code. 

To inform us that you wish to return an item, you can email us or call us.

You should then return the unwanted goods to us as soon as possible, within 14 days.  Once the items are received safely back at Guitarbitz, and provided the goods (including packaging, accessories, manuals etc) have not been used, have all of the original packaging and are undamaged and in new condition, we shall then arrange a full refund within 14 days.

Guitarbitz reserve the right to make a deduction to the refund if the value of the goods has been reduced as a result of you handling the goods more than was necessary.

When you receive your order, you must take reasonable care of the goods.  You may inspect and assess them, but not use them. The extent to which you can handle the goods is the same as it would be if you were assessing them in our shop.

You will be responsible for the costs of returning any unwanted item(s). Please be aware that you are responsible for returning the item to us safely so please package the item well to avoid damage while in transit and retain your postal receipt and proof of postage.

Any variations to the returns policy above is by special arrangement with us ONLY, we are not obliged to accept returns after this period unless the goods develop a fault and are within warranty.

The following is an indication of the costs of using Royal Mail and/or Parcel Force to return items to us:-
 * Guitars – Parcel Force Express 48 Service – approximately £20
 * Amplifiers – Parcel Force Express 48 Service – approximately £20
 * Spares and Accessories – Royal Mail First Class Post – between £1 and £5

We are also able to offer a collection service, please contact us for more information.

We are not obliged to accept returns after this period unless the goods develop a fault and are within warranty. Please see the Guarantee section.


Exchanges 

If you wish to exchange any items received for an alternative product, you can do this within the Cooling Off Period as described above, provided the goods (including packaging, accessories, manuals etc) have not been used, have all of the original packaging and are in new condition. 
Please contact us for an Exchange Code. Unfortunately, you will be liable for the following costs, any price difference between exchanged items, postage costs back to us and postage & packaging costs of the replacement items back to you.   
Any variations to the exchanges policy above is by special arrangement with us ONLY, we are not obliged to accept exchanges after this period unless the goods develop a fault and are within warranty.


Mailing List

We maintain a mailing list so that we can keep in touch with our customers to inform them of new products, any promotions we may run and providing a service regarding items purchased! 
You can join the mail list at any time, or, if you wish to be removed please contact us. When you submit an Email address, you will receive an email to which you must reply before you are added to the list. This is in your best interests I'm sure you'll agree.
If you have placed and order and your item is being delivered by our courier, we will pass your address details, email address and contact telephone number onto our courier (Interlink Express) so that they can deliver your order to you efficiently.
We will not sell your email address to third parties.


Competitions

We like to make sure things are clear and simple for you here at Guitarbitz Competitions, so if there is anything in these terms and conditions that you don’t understand, please contact us at sales@guitarbitz.com and we’ll try to explain them so that you do.

 1. About Guitarbitz Competitions 

1.1 Guitarbitz Competitions is a skill based competition to win one of our musical products. For any questions relating to our website or prizes, our team can be contacted at sales@guitarbitz.com

2. About the competition

2.1 The competition is open to all those that live in the UK and are aged 18 years and over. You must also be located in the UK when you play to successfully complete your entry.

2.2 To enter the competition you are accepting and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

2.3 When entering the competition, you must enter contact details to process your payment as requested, which will be used for the following purposes:

  1. to notify the you that you have won the prize or correspondence relating to your entry/prize;

  2. to comply with the privacy policy.

 2.4 By entering the competition, you are solely responsible for providing and maintaining Guitarbitz Competitions with the correct and accurate contact details. 

2.5 Guitarbitz Competitions will be in no way liable for any failure or inability to make contact with you due to any errors or inaccuracies in the contact details provided.

2.6 To enter you will choose your answer above and purchase your ticket. When the competition closes, if you’re the winner, the prize you have chosen will be all yours!

2.7 To enter you must take part in our skill based challenge. In answering the question, you recognise that you must exercise skill, knowledge and judgement to give the correct answers. Failure to answer the question correctly, will still result in any entrant being charged but unfortunately will not enter them into the competition. 

2.8 If you win (and we hope that you do) with your prior consent, your name, location and images of you and your prize will be used by Guitarbitz Competitions in marketing materials to promote the competition.

2.9 Once the competition is closed we will run our randomized prize draw to choose the winner.

2.10 If your ticket is chosen, you will be contacted as the winner. 

2.11 Once we have made contact with the winner, we will ensure that your prize is delivered to you within 7 working days.

2.12 If we cannot source the exact prize as pictured an equivalent will be selected as close to the original as possible.

2.13 It’s a scary thought, but if you win and we can’t contact you within 28 days of the competition closing you will have lost your prize. Please make sure you answer our calls and emails to avoid this. We will always consider mitigating circumstances, but in the interests of fairness, we may run another draw, or advertise your prize in a separate competition. If you lose your prize, no alternatives or compensation will be provided.

2.14 We hope we don’t ever have to, but we do reserve the right to withhold prizes if we believe there is good cause to do so. It’s really important that we protect our brand and the integrity of the competition for all our loyal players and followers.

2.15 Unfortunately, if you fail to make your entry in time, not submitted online or just incomplete, we cannot make allowances for this.

2.16 There is a maximum entry limit of 30 times. Feel free to increase your chances by entering up to 30 times. Any entrance made over 30 times will not count.

2.17 We may change these terms and conditions if necessary to ensure Guitarbitz Competitions can continue in the spirit it is intended. We also reserve the right to cancel the competition if it is compromised in any way.

2.18 The decisions of Guitarbitz Competitions regarding all competition matters, is final and binding. Guitarbitz Competitions will not enter into correspondence regarding these matters. 

2.19 By playing you are agreeing to the usual requirement under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 for any goods and services ordered online to be supplied within 30 days will not apply to this prize competition.

2. 20 Free Entry Route - if you wish to enter any of our competitions for free you can send you answer to the questions along with your full contact and address details to: Guitarbitz Music Store, 6 Quiet Street, Bath, BA1 2JS. Free entries by post will be treated in the exact same manner as a paid entry. Postal entries are limited to one entry per postal entry received. Standard terms and conditions apply for free entries. 

3. Payments and charges

3.1 The cost of playing is based on the number of tickets you buy.

3.2 Ticket prices are payable in UK pounds sterling (£) and are inclusive of VAT.

3.3 Payment is required for your tickets to be valid.

3.4 If you feel the need to question any payments made to Guitarbitz Competitions, we feel it’s only right to point out that refunds are only provided in exceptional circumstances and at the sole discretion of our company, following a full review of your use of the website and the information you were presented with and provided as part of your entry.

3.5 For card payments, payment amounts are reserved until the transaction is completed, at which point the full payment is taken. If for any reason the transaction does not complete the funds will be released in approximately 3 - 5 days.

4. Marketing messages

4.1 If you opt in to receive marketing, or join the Guitarbitz Competitions Community, we may send you marketing messages based on your preferences.

4.2 If you don’t want to receive marketing messages from Guitarbitz Competitions, please click the “unsubscribe” link in marketing emails.

5. Important information

5.1 If you win, and you decide to engage your local press, or other media, to celebrate your good fortune, we ask that all materials are pre-approved by the Guitarbitz Competitions team. Please send these requests through to sales@guitarbitz.com

5.2 The content on our website is general information and is not intended to be used as advice.

5.3 We’ll always try to keep our website up-to-date, but we can’t promise or guarantee that it will be.

5.4 Whilst we love our Guitarbitz Competitions community, we will not be held liable to you for any losses, damages, negligence, wrongful acts, infringement of your rights, or otherwise, even if they can be predicted in advance, when connected with:

a) your taking part in our competition;

b) problems with taking part in our competition;

c) your use of, or reliance on our website content. In particular, we will not be liable for:

d) loss of profits, sales, business, or revenue;

e) business interruption;

f) loss of anticipated savings;

g) loss of business opportunity, goodwill or reputation; or any indirect or consequential loss or damage.

5.5 This competition is operated under the laws of England and Wales and the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

5.6 As a condition of entering the competition, you must ensure that, by doing so, you do not contravene any laws of your country of residence as Guitarbitz Competitions will not be liable in any way if you enter the competition unlawfully;

5.7 By entering you also recognise that the competition, its administration and all associated activities are governed by English Law and recognise that the County or High Courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction in the event of any dispute arising out of the competition or its administration; 

 

5.8 We reserve the right to refuse or disqualify any entrant if it has reasonable grounds for believing that they have contravened any of these terms and conditions or acted in a way that is reasonably considered by us to be illegal.
