1981 Gibson Les Paul Custom in ebony in the uncommon left handed orientation.

A cracking and classic guitar in fantastic shape for its age with some great period features. Condition wise the guitar is in exceptional all original condition with the only modification being the addition of some Schaller strap lock buttons. The guitar has its original frets that show minimal wear and the finish is superbly clean with some mild buckle rash being the only real point of wear to speak of.

The guitar has some awesome features from early 80's Gibson including the epic flip out winding machine heads and great aged speed knobs. The gold hardware is in lovely shape on this example and looks great against the yellowed lacquer across the binding and inlays.

The guitar comes with its original case which rather than the more common chainsaw style is the mid/late 70's style with purple lining and in great condition. The guitar comes in at 10lb 4oz though is nicely balanced and really doesn't feel too heavy to play.

The guitar has no structural repairs has a lovely smooth truss rod and as such has set up beautifully with a set of Ernie 10's and has a lovely low action with no choking or dead spots.

A classic guitar with some good vintage to it and in a super uncommon lefty variation. This is certain to be a dream guitar for someone!

As with all used instruments here at Guitarbitz this guitar comes with a full workshop setup and appraisal and is ready to go with 6 months warranty!
