1987 Fender USA Stratocaster - Pewter - Preowned

1987 Fender USA Standard Stratocaster in Pewter in good all round condition with original case and all tags and accessories! 

An awesome late 80's Strat in the fantastic Pewter finish with some nice aging to the clear coat giving it a nice yellow hue. The guitar is presented in fair all round condition for its age. The frets show some wear but with plenty of height for a level/re-crown should you wish to do so. 

The guitar has one small hole in the back of the body from a previous strap button placement. The nut has been replaced with a graphite one and the middle pickup is a slightly newer USA Standard Fender pickup. The original middle pickup gives no output though is included in the sale should you wish to have it rewound. 

The guitar pays really well and has a great action with a nice smooth truss rod and lovely smooth neck. It sounds nice and twangy but still good and full with all the classic Strat tones. Apart from the replaced middle pickup the guitar remains all original electronically. Strap lock counterparts have also replaced the original strap buttons. 

The guitar is a good weight and not too heavy around the 8lb mark and would make a great gigging instrument. The guitar retains its original hard shell case as well as all hang tags and original strap, a really nice piece all together.
