D'Addario Backline Gear Transport Pack

I ordered it at almost midnight and got it two days later. It doesn't get any better than that.

I had been thinking for years that I needed a better gig bag. I end up carrying different things in different boxes and bags and it takes any number of trips back to the car to bring everything in. This bag has pockets for everything Well, nearly everything. The chief bugbear of packing for a gig is leads. This has separate compartments for coiled leads, with dividers so thy don't tangle with one another. There are dedicated pockets for mics, but I use two of them for harmonicas. My guitar straps are pretty chunky, so they don't sit nicely in a guitar case, so the middle compartment of this bag is where they go, along with a volume pedal and an expression pedal. (My pedals are too big for the top compartment which the adverts show with pedals. They must be quite small pedals.) I also have my laptop and iPad in the back compartment.
I would have liked somewhere to put my multi mains lead, but it's too big. I think I need a bag of some kind so that I could clip that on the outside of the bag (which they advertised as being suitable for a mic or music stand).The danger, of course, is that by the time you've put everything in that you can think of, it gets pretty heavy, but the straps are good so it was OK getting from the car to the hall and back, with two free hands for a guitar and music stand.
