These Tusq bridge pins from Graph Tech, are for acoustic guitars are made from a plastic that looks and feels like Ebony. This Tusq, man made Ebony is made to be free of inconsistencies and impurities which can be found in natural materials such as bone, Ebony and Ivory.

This means that the vibrations from the strings are passed to the body of the guitar, enhancing tones, sustain and increasing the rich harmonics which results in crisp highs and powerful lows, bringing extra life to your guitar. Most people think that the vibrations on a string end at the nut and saddle.

However, the vibrations creep over the nut and saddle and end at the machine head and bridge pin respectively. These Tusq bridge pins transfer the energy of those little vibrations to the body of the guitar further enhancing the guitars tones.Bridge pins can be different sizes. Measure the width of the shaft immediately below the collar, under the pegs head. The length of the peg is not important.

The PP-2142-00 is a set of beautiful TUSQ traditional style bridge pins with a 2mm Mother of Pearl dot inlay. This is a perfect option to upgrade the pins in your acoustic guitar and dramatically improve the harmonics and tone of your instrument.

Black with 2mm Pearl Dot Width of Shank just below collar = 5.14mm / 0.2020inches
